About the Job

This position is responsible for marketing of the General cargo trucking service to  MNCs/ Corporates / SMEs in India. The immediate focus will be southern and western region and expand to Pan India operations after a year. The incumbent will be responsible for ascertaining  service level satisfaction to existing customers, identifying new potential customers, procure business and ascertaining the feedback that all the customers are serviced up to their requirements, whilst maintaining clear lines of communication with customers, thereby ensuring considerable growth in turnover/ customer base.

Desired Profile

Education & Language skills
·         Graduate and Masters from a  reputed business school with evidence of above average academic and extracurricular achievement
·         Fluent in written and spoken English and spoken Hindi.
·         Fluency in at least two regional languages besides Hindi is mandatory

Experience - 5+ years in similar profile from trucking services

Desired Skills

Ability to handle the below mentioned responsibilities
·       Responsible for meeting & ascertaining the service level satisfaction of the existing non-bonded trucking customers. ( i.e. customers to whom general cargo trucking service is provided) 
·        Responsible for marketing of our general cargo trucking service PAN INDIA ( south and West India initially and extend to PAN INDIA after a year)  
·         Responsible for identifying potential customers and procuring business from MNCs/Corporates/ SMEs PAN INDIA.
·         Attend meetings of all road transporters forums.
·    Monitor the release of RFQs for trucking service by domestic / corporate / international companies operating in India and participate in all such RFQs with the consent of the COO.     
·         Agree clear action points and own responsibility to implement and review.
·         Provide marketing support for our return loads for existing non-bonded business.
·         Look at opportunities for providing customized solutions to customers for nonbonded business.
·         Prepare marketing budget & Operate within the budget.
·         Ensure that the performance is above the target given by COO.
·         Identify the unique ideas enforced by competitors for business improvement & brief COO.
·         Identify opportunities for change and continuous improvements and report to the management
·   Communicates business issues / customer feedback and ensure that the operations team understands the business environment.

·         Submit and Maintain all periodic Marketing reports.

You will be responsible for statutory compliance matters relating to Factories Act and Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act (CLRA) .You will give subject matter guidance to the clients in resolving issues & answering queries from clients. Senior subject matter experts will also help you however it will expected that you have basic knowledge in the above mentioned areas to handle first level queries. Hence you will be required to know the various forms needed, how to treat certain cases / issues in order to ensure the company is complying to all statutory requirements.  Basic knowledge of ESI, PF & PT is also required. Since our client is engaged in corporate services it will be desirable that you have basic knowledge in Labour law.
