About our Client
Our client is a German MNC who has been in the Logistics
for the past 160 years and having 31 offices
spread across major countries. They
cater to integrated logistics of Air,
Sea & Supply chain Management etc.
Job Profile
You will be part of the rate
management team of the integrated logistics business. You will be interacting with international branches dealing
with carrier contracts, freight costs, surcharges, etc. with an objective to
ensure error free rate card is readily available to the sales team / agents .and
thus making you a subject matter expert in freight rates.
Desired Profile
Qualification - Any Graduate
Experience – 2+ yrs in coordination from similar role in
integrated logistics industry.
Desired Skills
·
Hands on experience from Integrated / Air /
Sea Logistics industry engaged in Pricing; Published Rates ;Procurement
·
Ability to Understand
different carrier contracts and trade lanes
·
Good Understanding
of freight costs and surcharges for all carriers
·
Ability to ensure
rates are updated on time with the SLA of 24hrs and same should be confirmed to
the contract owners.
·
Ensure Data
Quality of rates uploaded in to internal rate management tool.
·
Update Daily
reports based on individual task performed
·
Take
responsibility of allotted trades if any & ensure data accuracy, timeliness on selected trades.
·
Capable of taking
initiatives for further process improvements
and team development.
·
Take Responsibility
of knowledge sharing within the team
·
Ensure Carrier
Contracts been maintained in SharePoint & in internal folder/reports.
·
Ensure error log
sheet is maintained (Internal & external Errors) & should be reported
to your Team Leader/ Manager.
·
Should be
proactive in clearing Flex data errors and same should be communicated to
contract owners within 8 hrs.
·
Coordinate with
Technical team if any issues in flex and ensure this has been rectified
immediately.
·
Adopt to the
streamline/change of working procedures.
·
Close and
transparent cooperation within the team.
·
Hands on experience in Microsoft Excel, good
if exposed to advance skills like Vlookup,Hlooup,etc.
·
Must have Excellent spoken communication skill in English
·
Ability to confidently talk to internationals
with a pleasing disposition
