Our client is a logistics
company that is part of a large Chennai based group. They handle the outsourced
Air Cargo business for Indian operations for an MNC cargo airlines in carrying
freight, mail and courier traffic to 200 destinations in more than 80
countries. Their experienced operational and commercial team take pride in
delivering high levels of performance and customer care.
Job description
• Perform
customer support function ( Finance, admin, Customer Recovery and Imports) at
the station level
• Deliver World
Class Customer Service. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• To work in a
multi-functional environment.
• Responsible
for all import activities like issuance of cargo arrival notices, delivery
orders, regularization of import
discrepancies in Customs, collection of D.O. fees;
coordination for import transshipment with interline carriers etc.
• Manage AWB
Stock order, update FAT/AIT for AWB stock inventory; Revenue Accounting,
Sapphire invoicing and related amendments and reconciliation; Handling Petty
Cash & Statements.
• Maintaining
inventories and managing supplier relationship (stationary, shrink wrap, etc.),
Coordination for renewal of contracts/agreements; Manage team administration
(insurance, leave, joining formalities, travel functions).
• Handle all
periodic reports.
• To have
knowledge of the various manuals, e.g., SOP, LPM, TACT etc.
• To deliver products
in a professional and efficient manner
• To build
business relationships with internal and external customers
• To be able to
liaise with third party efficiently.
• To ensure
strict adherence to the safety and security procedures and standards of

of delays and
disruptions by proactive
communication and interaction
• To
effectively deal with mishandled & delayed cargo, and subsequent irate
customers.

Desired Profile
• Experience –
2 + yrs of relevant experience , preferably in Air Cargo industry.

Qualification - Graduate with evidence of
above average academic and extracurricular achievement

Ability to Operate efficiently in a highly pressurized
environment.
• Ability to
grasp all relevant procedures/formalities & become conversant will the
same.
• Fluent in
written and spoken English
• Realizes importance of delivering World Class
Customer Service at all times.
• Fluency in
local language is desirable
• Logical and
quick learner
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
within defined guidelines
• PC literate
with knowledge of Word/Excel
