Head - Quality Assurance ; e-governance - Bahrain

Job Profile

Role

• Establishment of quality plans, QA models, processes, documentation, structure, communication and compliance as defined by eGovernment Agency.
• Manage and control all quality related concerns.
• Coordinate with services and channels delivery team and ensure that all the services are met with the quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality models, processes, structures, procedures and documentation.
• Prepare quality plans.
• Assess and assist the importance and impact of Quality Assurance in the service delivery.
• Ensure all the services delivery should meet Quality Assurance requirements
• Review design to verify requirements implemented, good engineering design practices followed
• Use Quality Assurance for monitoring and producing performance management information.
• Apply principles and the best practice in QA Systems.
• Identify and address problems including those associated with non-compliance.
• Develop an action plan for improving quality within their work area.
• Create a willingness to promote continuous quality improvements at service level.
• Creates a culture of quality awareness, teamwork and cooperation with all groups within the eGovernment agency.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining an Assessment Program, which includes all the process functions.
• Develops, designs, builds, and deploys quality training programs that build people, processes, and systems. Responsible for validation, verification, and administration.
• Assists the channel & service delivery team in the Quality Performance Measures, which includes providing leadership, facilitation, and active participation, as defined by eGovernment agency.


Education Bachelors degree in computer science/IT/Communications/quality engineering and related fields, with MBA

Experience Total of 6 to 8 years of experience in quality assurance.

• Extensive experience on quality assurance engineering
• Expertise on various quality tools and models like six sigma, ITIL and CMMI, etc.
• Certifications related to quality assurance are appreciated.
• Strong knowledge of processes and proactively gathers information to learn about their needs/expectations.
• Strong organisational qualities along with the ability to adhere to conflicting deadlines
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
