Channel Head - Mobile Services, Bahrain

Job Profile

Role

• Identify the vendors in the market to setup and manage the mobile gateway.
• Coordinate with service delivery team and bring out the services through mobile channels.
• Establish the gateway for various services.
• Liaise with the businesses for which the mobile provides services.

Responsibilities

• Build the gateway for various services identified by the eGovernment Agency.
• Management of product development & support life cycle, for real time telecom applications.
• Middle-ware for Real time high performance, scalable and high availability requirements.
• Risk Handling, analyze impact of risks, prioritize the risks, & plan the mitigation strategy for the same.
• Draft Service Level Agreements with service providers.
• Work with marketing to develop strategies to promote partnerships and their related products/services/content.
• Set operational goals and performance objectives, monitor and improve performance of the services on mobile.
• Set and meet performance targets for speed, efficiency, sales and quality.
• Handle the most complex customer complaints or enquiries.
• Provide assistance/manage other channels, if required.

Education Bachelors degree in computer science/IT/Communications and related fields, with MBA, preferably

Experience Total of 6 to 8 years of experience in mobile technology domain

• Knowledge of Windows Mobile or other mobile development platforms
• Expertise on building the gateways or web services.
• Expert in SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) for building the web services.
• Knowledge of client/server protocols, internet servers, mobile technology, and Web technologies
• System implementation aspects of the Mobile Core Network/ Switching systems and real life experience of proving the product in the field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• People and team management skills
