Head - Software Development ; Oman - e-governance project

Job Profile

Role

• Manage the development team and responsible for the project delivery
• Coordinate with service delivery team and identify the new areas of development
• Ensure the quality of the deliverables.
• To assist in preparing the technical analysis & design documents

Responsibilities

• Functional / software Requirements analysis.
• Application Architecture design - including:
• Conceptual architecture (solution, layers, subsystems)
• Logical architecture (business entities, data flows)
• Process architecture (functional verticals, processes, services)
• Implementation architecture (components, application frameworks, technologies)
• Deployment architecture (infrastructure diagrams, network and hardware components, ports, protocols)
• Code review.
• Project Management
• Mentoring the team.
• Provide leadership to the technical team

Education Bachelors degree in computer science/IT preferred

Experience

Total experience of 6 to 8 years as a software development team lead
• Design review and Verification, Requirement analysis, cost estimation, Project Monitoring and Tracking, Team handling and people management, effort estimation,
• Responsible for deliverables.
• In Java, J2EE etc
• In developing web based portal application in IBM WebSphere,
• Knowledge in developing web services, XML.
• Knowledge in the use of rational rose tools
• In databases like DB2, Oracle
• In developing payment gateways
• Exposure in Tivoli access and Identity Manager.
• Exposure to Rapid application developer tools (RAD)
