Job Description

As a Head - UI Engineer you will be managing a team of around 25-30 UI engineers and be chartered creating engaging front-end digital interfaces, building reusable code and libraries for future use. You will work with Product Managers, UX designers, Technology team to understand requirements and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, work on Multiple CMS (such as Drupal / Wordpress / Joomla etc), work with latest frameworks like Angular, react, redux, Ionic etc.

Desired Profile

Qualification – Any Degree, preferably MCA / BE

Experience – 10+ years in a similar role

Desired skills

·    Passionate about UI / UX development with a proven track record of delivering great digital interfaces.

·         Hands on Experience in HTML, CSS, HTML5, OO JavaScript, React, Ionic, Angular.

·         Exposure in  using  a variety of content management systems : Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress

·         Ability to write code for responsive UI and implement common widgets.

·         Well versed with accessibility standards including WCAG 2.0 AA and ADA

·         Good understanding of Section 508 compliance.

·         Passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well.

·         Strong in Computer Science fundamentals including object oriented design, data structures,

algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.

·   Capable of collaborating with other architects, designers, product managers and software developers to influence product direction and functional requirements.

·         Ability to mentor inside and outside the team - You enjoy working closely with others

·         Have a positive energy and enthusiasm - cultural fit is a big deal for us,

About your Responsibilities

•       Develop Website/Mobile Application/Product based on requirement

•       Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

•   Work with PM and UX designer/Technology team to understand requirement and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design.

•       Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

•       Work on PoC projects to integrate and upgrade existing application.

•    Collaborate with other team members and with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across geographies.

•       Participate in design and code reviews.
