Our client is a German MNC who has been into Logistics for the past 160 years. They cater to  integrated logistics of Air, Sea & Supply chain Management etc. Their IT infrastructure support services for 160 global offices  are delivered from India.

Job Description

You will be a Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) for the Chennai branch Your main activities will be maintaining a Citrix Farm (XenApp 6.5) with approx. 100 Windows Terminal Server 2008R2 and Windows Domain Server / services. You will be responsible for managing this farm as well as planning, installation and deploying of new applications inside the farm. Further, you will be  supporting peripherals coming along with the farm such as printing solutions, file and document services and designing GPOs to manage our environment and user needs. You should be experienced with the Active Directory and all its functions and should be able to  administrate it without difficulty. This role calls for close communication with  end users for support and technical planning and completion.

Qualification

Degree with Citrix Certified Administrator - CCA, version 6.5 or higher

Experience

Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in planning, installing, maintaining and administration of Citrix environment

Skills

Active Directory Basics

·       Understanding of MS Active Directory administration, specifically supporting technologies and how they relate to Citrix

·       Create/Manage GPOs

·       User and Group management

·       Domain Controller management (Sites and Services, Promote, DFS)

·       PowerShell scripting

File Server management

·         Manage NTFS and Share permissions

·         Quota management

Print Server management

·       Create and configure new printers

·       Manage drivers

·       Manage on site printer roll outs

Citrix Administration

·       Create and Manage Published Applications

·       Terminal Server Performance optimization (Load Evaluators, Policies)

·       Install new Citrix Terminal Servers on XEN Server platform

·       Install and manage applications installed on Terminal Servers

·       Install and manage Citrix Web interface and Secure Gateway servers

Application Administration

·       Planning and installing new application infrastructures

·       Create unattended application installation packages

·       Update management

·       Problem Management: Solve issues based on error logs, work on incidents, trouble shooting

·       Excellent level of server and application troubleshooting skills

Interpersonal Skills

·       work independently in our 2^nd level team (ability to take initiative and work without supervision)

·       very good communication skills in English language

·       Mentoring and guiding junior staff

·       Creating and maintenance of technical documents

·       Manage client expectations with strong customer focus

·       Oversea experience desired, but not mandatory
