Experience - 2 – 5 years
Experience with exposure to Windows and Linux, Virtual Machines, AWS
Skills
- Strong hands on experience in Experience with Windows and Linux, Virtual Machines, AWS
- Some experience with - .NET, Drupal, MySQL, WordPress, Puppet
- Experience in provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS
- Ability to provide AWS operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the life cycle of a project.
- Experience with application / data migration to AWS
- Ability to Work as a part of AWS build team.
- Build, configure and manage EC2 instances; Security Groups, VPC, IAM roles, etc.
- Strong skills in working with S3 to Create the buckets to store objects ; Changing permissions
- Implementing lifecycle management send data to Glacier.
- Manage and created user accounts, shared folders, providing day to day user support, log management, reporting, etc.
- Monitoring AWS services EC2, S3, RDS etc. through cloudwatch.
- Ability to handle multiple RDS (Relation Database Service) instance. This includes migration of roduction Database from cloud premises environment to cloud.
- Provisioning RDS instances such as MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle database.
- Enabling automated backups and Multi-AZ to improve database performance on RDS.
- Importing and exporting data from native servers to AWS cloud.
- Implement the file sharing on the network by configuring the system to share essential resources.
- Efficiently manage backup and recovery using snapshot.
- Experience with Nagios, NGINX
- Basic understanding of security technologies (Digital Certificates, LDAP, PKI, SSO, SSL.
- Support production systems, which involve day to day transactions and desktop support (local and remote).
- Reasonable exposure to Web logic 9 & JBoss4.2.2 servers
