the first to produce wet brake , wet clutch system, Friction Disc etc. for
automobile & heavy vehicle industry

Job
Description
You will
be part of the Production Engineering Department where
in the dominant production activity is in machined auto components . The unit
also has a growing press shop which will also be your responsibility . Hence ,you
will be responsible for driving production in both areas, resole technical
issues. It is expected that your core competency will
be in Machine shop and thus you will be
expected to exhibit high level exposure to designing, new product development,
production process, client interaction, etc. Since the press shop is at a
growth stage, it will be expected that you give direction & technical
expertise in the area of machinery, heat treatment, etc.

Qualification -
Mechanical Engineer / Diploma Mechanical
Experience
–
12 + years of experience in the Automotive sector (No plastic components)

Skills
·
Strong exposure to CNC,VMC machine shop production environment
·
Must have managed production
dept with large workforce
·
Have Excellent Man
Management skills
·
Must have strong exposure to
cross functions: Designing, Tooling,
Quality, New Product Development, Procurement, etc.
·
Exposure to producing a variety of machined components is a must have skill
·
Experience in Press shop
& Heat treatment facility
·
Developing & implementing production plans
& schedules to achieve pre-set targets as per budgeted parameters.
·
Exposure to Designing layouts, installing &
commissioning machines & equipment and conducting tests to determine
effectiveness
·
Must have good experience in
TQM,Kaizen,TS16949,Poka Yoke and other quality, process & SOP techniques
relevant to the auto industry
·
Should be able to exhibit
strong leadership
·
Mentoring subordinates and ensuring amicable
employee relations in the shop floor.
·
A stickler for high safety standards
·
Ability to handle international clients
·
Excellent spoken & written communication in
English
Remuneration
will commensurate with experience and will be at Industry standard.
