Linux System Administrator

About our Client

Our client is a software MNC having a large unit in Chennai . The are into various product development and deliver project on multiple platforms.

Desired Profile

·         . 4+ years Linux Server administration experience and strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Servers (networking and storage)

·         High Availability and failover scenarios, load balanced environments

·         Strong working knowledge of storage environments (SAN, NAS)

·         Software experience with Apache, PHP, MySQL, Perl/PHP, Tomcat, LDAP, Radius, bind, clustering

·         scripting knowledge is must

·         File Replication, File System Tuning, Upgrading, Configuring and Troubleshooting

·         Disaster Recovery

·         Ability to work well with customers and in a cross-team environment and to mentor within teams

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills

·         Documentation processes and procedures

·         Red Hat Certification Engineering experience is preferred

·         Windows 2000/2003 is a plusƒ12. Solaris, SuSE and other Linux distributions experience is a plus

·         Solid experience with multi-server environment / deployments.

·          Ability to gather requirements, design and implement appropriate solutions

·         Strong process oriented experience in terms of implementation and completion
