Function
The person will be required to be hands-on, who can work as in individual contributor for a while and, in due course, help to setup and develop a team. As a hands-on tech writer, this person shall be responsible for producing technical documentation for QCA's products.

Minimum
3 years of experience creating end-user documents in a high-tech technical
publications environment, creating documentation for telecommunication/wireless
products.

MUST HAVE - Working Experience on
Frame maker, MS word, MS Visio is mandatory
Good English communication (writing) skills

Experience
leading a team of tech-writers
·
Capable
of listening to a verbal technical overview of a wireless product from the
engineers and producing documentation based on the fact gathering

Apt
skills at reviewing and critiquing documentation from an end-user/customer
perspective

Basic
knowledge of Access Points and Routers

Ability to design and develop technical
information in a well-structured manner: concise, easy-to-use, etc.

Skilled
in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Familiar
with Adobe Acrobat

with graphics packages

understanding of computer architecture

Responsibilities
·
Support
engineers by writing, formatting, editing, and releasing highly technical
documents such as user guides, tutorials, APIs, design specifications,
presentations, etc.

Work
with engineering teams building wireless routers, understand the product,
create documentation for it with minimal help from engineers
·
Assist
ongoing documentation projects and various other projects as necessary.
