Desired profile

Qualifications – BE (IT, CSE) with relevant certifications

Experience – 5+ yrs of strong hands-on experience in similar position

Desired Skills

·         Installation, configuration and administration of VMware ESXi

·         VMware knowledge at L3 Level

·         Migrate physical servers to virtual servers using VMware converter (p2v)

·         Create VMFS Data stores by using the LUNs assigned by SAN

·         Creating and managing the virtual machines and installing VM tools into VM's

·         Managing the VM's using virtual center

·         Hands on  knowledge in, SAN, NAS, NFS, RAID, FC

·         Build, configure and deploy VMs, manage, templates and migrate virtual machines

·         Installation, Configuration of Windows 2008 Servers for DHCP, DNS, WDS,

·         Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ESX/ESXi environment running Windows Server for production, development and test environments

·         Experience in Linux operating systems a plus

·         Strong  Knowledge on clusters for High Availability (HA) and Distributed Resource Scheduling (DRS)

·         Ability to Manage backup to tapedrive running Veritas Symantec

·         VMotion, SVmotion
