Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to drive users to the websites of our clients. This involves developing, adhering to, and continually improving our clients ’websites, as well as other pages using appropriate SEO strategies & best practices and maintain a consistent level of excellence with ultimate objective of  achieving client’s strategic SEO goals.

Desired Profile

Qualification

Any degree, Preferably BE / MCA

Experience

3+ years of experience in SEO working with Google / search engines

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

·         Perform broad keyword analysis and selection of broad and long tail keyword combinations

·         Review key metrics across the full website to assess the effectiveness of SEO strategy

·         Perform competitive site analysis to increase the effectiveness of on-page optimization

·         Optimization of on page information including page content, meta tags, heading tags, alt tags/attributes

·         Develop internal linking strategies to disperse value throughout the whole site

·         Submission and analysis of websites using Google Webmaster Tools

·         Engage in inbound and outbound link placement

·         Verify and optimize business and local listings for Google and Bing

Specific Knowledge/Requirements

·         Able to respond to clients in a competent and professional manner

·         Command over English language with good written and verbal communications skills

·         Able to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of SEO work to internal team and external clients

·         Have superb attention to detail and be able to consistently follow policies and procedures

·         Be able to confidently suggest changes to improve existing policies and procedures

·         Be self-motivated and be able to complete tasks without much supervision

·         Understand and execute SEO activities following industry best practices

·         Proficiency in working on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

·         Foundational understanding of Internet and mainstream information technology concepts

·         Should be results oriented with exceptional work organization skills

·         Ability to be highly proactive in overcoming obstacles to ensure project success

·         Ability to interact with internal teams to solve SEO issues and questions

·         Manage and complete tasks according to assigned timeline

·         Good business analysis and problem solving skills
