Our client  have a manufacturing unit in Chennai in collaboration  with a Korean giant to be the first to produce wet brake , wet clutch system, Friction Disc etc. for automobile & heavy vehicle  industry .  They are quality driven company and have a reputation for reliability. They take pride in being large enough to handle any kind of requirement and yet small enough to give personalized attention to address the customized needs of the client.  They are expanding production and are having aggressive plans for growth .

Job Location –  Sriprembadur , Chennai 

Desired Profile 

a.     Qualification:         B.Com / M.Com

b.    Experience:            3 to 5 years in Accounts dept. in manufacturing segment

c.     Skills:

 ACCOUNTS

Ø    Maintaining Cash Book, Bank Book, Ledger A/c etc.

Ø    Preparing Bank Reconciliation Statement periodically. 

Ø    Bill  Passing with GRIR  and settlement

Ø    All Necessary Voucher  entries  made 

Ø    Age wise analysis of Creditors & Debtors.

Ø    Reconciliation  of  Debtors  & Creditors

Ø    Preparing  T.D.S.  and filling TDS Return

Ø    Preparing and Filling of Service Tax  Return

Ø    Hands on SAP exposure will be a plus point

EXCISE – Critical Skill

Ø    Maintaining RG - RG-23A Part II   RG 23 C Part II , Annexure 8 for PLA

Ø    Prepared and Paid  Excise Duty

Ø    Liaison  with  Central  Excise Department officials

Ø    Preparing and Filling of Central Excise Return 

SALES TAX – Critical Skill 

Ø    Preparing and filling VAT  Return

Ø    Statutory  forms  issue

Ø    VAT  reconciliation 

Ø    Liaison  with   Department officials 

Computer Skills 

 ·         Working knowledge in  MS Office & Tally ERP9
