Job
Description
The
incumbent will be responsible for communicating the institute’s objectives & programs to
the corporates, targeted student communities and the general public . This will
involve
(i)
Coordination of PR activities with PR agency.
(ii)
Preparation of media brief, press release
both in Tamil & English
(iii)
Periodic visit to media houses, engagement
with online media.
(iv)
Coordination with advertising agency for copy
briefing and delivery.
(v)
Coordination with media agency for release of
ROs, billing and payment.
(vii)
Compilation of reports (weekly/monthly) basis
by monitoring media.
(viii)
Preparation of reports/features on the
Institution.
Desired Profile
·
Experience: 2
+ years of relevant experience
·
Qualification: Mass communication / Journalism with exposure
on online media.
·
Skills
o
Exposure to Media – newspaper, TV channels,
Advertising
o
Strong understanding of Marketing concepts , specifically Branding
o
Ability to gather market intelligence for
business & competition analysis
o
Dexterous in social Networking & online activities
o
Strong skills in development of Collaterals
& content for media
o
Exposure to Ad Agency , Media planning, media
brief etc.
o
Astute in PR activities
o
Excellent spoken & written communication
in English, a plus if knowing Hindi
