About Our Client

Our client is a leading Enterprise solution provider who represents in India for leading brands for Storage Arrays, backup automation, disaster recovery and other data protection and management softwares. They have pan India installations of these products and services with a well qualified & trained team of sales and support engineers. They now require ‘Technical Support Engineers’ for their Bangalore operations. This position is for immediate appointment and hence interested candidates may please rush your resume.


Job Description

demo / PoC to clients of our data storage solutions
installation/ configuration of storage solutions sold to clients
post-sale support of storage solutions
acquiring in-depth knowledge of various products (hardware + software)
receiving and imparting training on solutions / services
testing / validation of new products and solutions (HW and SW)

Desired Candidate profile

Technical degree (Diploma/BE/BSc with MCA etc)
1 to 2 years experience in technical support of servers or data storage solutions
strong skill sets in Server Maintenance, Networking, Linux & Windows administration.
MCP, MCNA, MCSE, RHCE will be an advantage.
Fluent and confident communication in written / spoken English
Fluency in regional language will be an added advantage
Excellent inter-personal and client-relationship skills
High degree of familiarity in computer office applications, email and internet
Self-driven with high degree of motivation and initiative
Ability to cope with regular inter-city travel (often at short notice) and unpredictable working hours
Valid Driver's License

NOTE: Important

1. The positions involve travel to client locations in Bangalore and outside of the base locations for client support.
2. Compensation will be at par with the Industry.
