Job Location – Bangalore


Job Profile

• Design & Development of data storage platform software and allied applications on BSD/Linux
• Migration/Porting of current version to newer kernel

• Development of new applications/features related to webGUI, NAS (CIFS, Samba, NFS), snapshots, iSCSI, FCP, replication, high availability/clustering, data-footprint optimization, etc.

• Integration and testing of platform on new HW

• Integration and testing of storage platform in virtual environments (VMWare etc.)


Desired Profile – Key Skills

• Education Qualification - BE/MCA or higher
• Domain Experience – 4 + years
• C/C++, MySQL, PHP,
• Device driver development
• Familiarity with Linux / Unix kernel
• Proven record of contribution to open source community would be an important consideration
• Exposure to BSD Unix desirable but not essential
• Good Interpersonal and documentation skills
• Wiling to take on a leadership role for a small team of developers
• Candidate with an Entrepreneur streak will be a very desirable quality
