Job Description

The incumbent will be sitting in Chennai and be responsible for the accounting activities of the Bangalore branch  with an approximate turnover of 35 crores.  This will involve, Branch Accounts Receivables, Accounts payables , finalization of accounts, Service Tax ,Sales Tax ,TDS, import/export transactions, BRS ,banking relations, MIS etc..  He will be required to travel a few days in a month to Bangalore Branch. He will  manage a small team of accounts executives under him  and  will be reporting to  G.M. Operations  as well as to the Managing Director .

Desired Profile

·         Commerce Degree

·         6 + years of experience in handling Branch accounts with good turnover

·         Have Excellent skills in Tally

·         Should be able to independently handle Finalization of accounts

·         Must be aware of statutory compliance for Branch operations 

·         Should have Independently handled Service tax and Sales tax matters

·         Good Banking relationship skills

·         Exposure to imports/exports business activity will be most preferred

·         Skill in SAP will be an added advantage

·         Excellent skills in written and spoken English
