Job Description

·         Troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of electro-mechanical equipment used in the IT industry, such as power supplies, logic/controller boards, tape drives and tape libraries, degaussers and similar electronic equipment and instruments.

·         Repairs and maintenance of equipment through corrective and preventative maintenance procedures.

·         Researching and sourcing parts for equipment repair.

·         Installation of new equipment.

Desired Profile

·         Education Qualification - Diploma in Electronics & Communication (E&C), Electronics and Instrumentation (E&I) or equivalent vocational training with suitable work experience

·         Experience -  3 + years in IT Hardware / Enterprise / Solution sales

·         Skills

• High degree of skill and aptitude with mechanical and electrical layout, construction, modification, testing, adjustment, calibration, and preventive maintenance of simple and complex analog and digital electronic circuits. 

• Thorough knowledge in use normal bench test equipment such as digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, function generator, logic  analyzer etc. for testing of discrete electronic components such as diodes, relays, capacitors, transistors and ICs, as well as digital and analog circuits.

• Familiarity with microcontrollers and their use in electronic instrumentation and equipment.
