Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for the entire freight forwarding operations of the Bangalore branch. He will drive the operations team to ensure efficient delivery of services. Provide strong leadership and guidance in matters relating to Customs duty ,Import & export rules , regulations procedures etc.   Should also indulge in customer relationship & support activities. Work closely with sales team and support in closing cargo bookings & other logistics services

Desired Profile 

Qualification – Any Degree

 

Experience –  5+ years in Sales & Operations in shipping / Freight forwarding  industry

 Desired Skills 

·         Capable of taking on the responsibilities of sales and operations of the branch

·         Proficient in Ocean Cargo freight forwarding operations

·         Good understanding of Integrated Logistics services

·         Hands on experience in handling Customs as CHA with excellent knowledge in the subject matter

·         Excellent man management skills

·         Good Commercial sense – ability to negotiate with agents, Shipping liners, NVOCC, clients

·         Preparation of test reports,  DI reports, Root cause analysis reports

 Desired Profile

Qualification - Diploma in Electronics or Computer Science.

Experience - 3+ years experience in Testing of Embedded Boards.

Desired Skills

·         Expertise in using measuring instruments such as Oscilloscope, Function generator and High precision testing equipments.

·         Knowledge of working with high end processor boards , analog and digital boards

The Global Operations Data Extraction Specialist is responsible to accurately and efficiently classify documents (identify their type) and thereafter extract data from the documents utilizing OCR(Optical Character Recognition)outputting the data into a structured data file and making it available to network teams for upload into operational systems according to relevant procedures, checklists, and service level agreements.

 Responsibilities

 ·         Work with your designated trainer/QA to learn exactly the relevance and requirement of the documents for     the process.

·         Work with your designated on-shore and off-shore trainer/QA to understand and properly leverage the OCR tool

·         Ask your Supervisor or designated trainer/QA and in specifically documented scenarios the network entry writer for clarification any time exceptions occur and you are unsure how to proceed

·         Ensure to follow the processes according to a prescribed SOPs or checklist

·         Manage the work queue / meet or exceed expectations set with your Leader for daily transactions

·         Maintain and reference customer specific processes

·         Identify opportunities for improvement of existing workflows, identify system bugs or issues and escalate for resolution.
