Job Description
As
Station Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day management of
operations, call center, customer service and administrative functions at the
station whilst maintaining clear lines of communication with internal and
external customers, thereby ensuring 100% conformance to the standards required
by the business.

Experience
– 5 + yrs in Cargo industry
Skills

Ability to manage the effective functioning of the station in
accordance with the SOP / SLA requirements of the company
·
Efficiently Plan / control /
review effective use of equipment / staff, to meet operational workload and
fluctuations.
·
Ability to Attend meetings
on behalf of the Principals with agencies, warehouse custodians, authorities
and other departments. Agree clear action points and own responsibility to
implement and review.

Ensure to meet conformance
targets and provide performance reviews.
·
Constantly review
operational performance within the region, identifying shortfalls and
implementing
·
short and long-term
corrective action.
·
Identify opportunities for providing customized
solutions to high revenue generating customers.
·
Operate within financial
controls and drive cost efficiencies.
·
Effectively communicate
statutory and regulatory requirements where appropriate and ensure adherence.
·
Comprehensive knowledge of
business and operating systems in their process area.
·
Take Accountability for
attendance management, performance management, coaching / development of reporting
staff.
·
Participate in recruitment /
selection of staff and be accountable for the training and development of the teams.
·
Ensure seamless
communication within teams.
·
Lead and motivate all staff
to enhance Customer focus and service.
·
Excellent communication
skills in English and local language
·
