WALK IN FOR FRESHER “MCA /BE / BTech – 30 DEVELOPERS OPENINGS

Happy New Year !!!!

My client is a rapidly growing software development company having very successful software implementations in many state governments in the USA. The client is now in the advanced stage of developing an ERP solution for all most all verticals of business which is to be marketed globally. Hence the company is a product oriented and not project oriented organization.

30 RESHERS NEEDED - CHENNAI

In view of the above, the client is now recruiting 30 fresh BE / B.Tech / MCA / B.Sc graduates from 2008 batch as software developers.

The three skill sets needed for the job

•C language – the candidate is expected to be proficient in Pointers, Structures, Functions, Pointer to Function and Pointer to Structures
•Algorithms and data structures - Heap-sort, Quick Sort, Merge sort, Buckle sort, Radix sort
•Linux - Knowledge to compile the program ( preferable , not a must )

While the client wants freshers , It was found that there was a gap between curriculum and the skill needed for the job and thus the client has asked us to select candidates , train them and send to them for placement. Hence, we will be adopting the following recruitment method.

Walk – in Test

There will be a Screening test for selecting the candidates who are having sufficient aptitude / knowledge for training – Interested candidates must bush up C language and sincerely prepare for the selection test. Please refer 'C programming Language ' by Dennis M.Ritchie .

Test schedule as follows :

Date of test : 7th Jan to 9th Jan 09

Timings : 10.00 AM to 5.30 PM

The Test - Logical reasoning ( All levels to be taken together )
1)Level one - 15 Minutes - Max 15 X 1 = 15 marks
2)Level two - 30 Minutes - Max 20 X 2 = 40 marks
3)Level three - 40 Minutes - Max 15 X 3 = 45 marks
Total all levels – 90 Minutes – 100 marks

Personal Interview for Selection for training – 9th & 10th Jan 09

Candidates must obtain 70% marks to be eligible for selection for training


Job oriented Training

The short listed candidates whom we find to have an aptitude will be intensively trained in the three skills as mentioned above i.e. C, algorithms & Linux. These being the specific skills needed for the job.

Number of candidates to be selected for training - 35

a)Training Period - 2 weeks
b)Starts 19th Jan , Ends – 31st Jan
c)Number of days - 6 days a week
d)Timing – 9.30 to 5.30

Pattern of Training

o Lectures - 40%
o Desk work - 30%
o Lab - 30%
o Exit test on last day

Final test at client’s Location

o Technical test
o Systems test
o Personal Tech Test
o HR discussion

Training Fees
Rs.3000/- on registration & Balance Rs.5000/- on receipt of appointment letter.
